Victor Raymond is a doctoral candidate in Sociology at Iowa State University, a Ford Foundation Fellow, and a recipient of the K. Patricia Cross Future Leaders Award. Before returning to academia, he worked as a community organizer in Minneapolis-St. Paul, Minnesota. As a multiracial and bisexual activist, his interest in interstitial art stems from his own personal sense of identity. Besides his social justice work, he has been a science fiction convention organizer and a longtime reader of speculative fiction.
